The North Sea Canal, which runs from Amsterdam to IJmuiden, is 21 kilometers long and 270 meters wide. It is an interesting location for anglers due to the unique mix of salt and fresh water (brackish water). This transitional zone attracts a wide variety of fish species, including zander, perch, eel, carp, bream, and sea bass.
